CaCO3 stone powder used in the paper industry
The use of minerals in papermaking has long been known, kaolin and clay are the main raw materials used as fillers in papermaking, but the cost is high while calcium carbonate is abundant in nature. However, the price is lower but the whiteness is higher. In the paper production environment, which is usually an acidic environment, using calcium carbonate to change it into a neutral medium becomes an alkaline environment, which is very good for paper production.

Because of its wide application, today calcium carbonate stone powder is the most important filler and coating agent in the papermaking process. Calcium carbonate fillers and coatings will have higher whiteness, gloss and good printability at competitive prices. Calcium carbonate can be used in very large quantities, the amount of wood material can be reduced without affecting the strength of the paper. Paper machinery can operate at higher speeds and finish dry paper faster, these improvements save on energy costs.

Calcium carbonate as filler in paper: Calcium carbonate is used as a filler in the production of writing paper, printing paper or packaging paper and cardboard, the filler in paper has the following advantages over the non-filler type: the paper when produced has a smooth surface, brighter, higher gloss and improved printability.
Calcium carbonate as coating agent in paper: Coating means increasing the surface quality of paper and hard paper, the coating process at a large scale leaves the surface of the paper uniform for better printing.

Our Company has experiences in manufaturing and supplying types of Calcium Carbonate, limestone
